Our incredible trip continued with Fraser Island, the only place in the world where a rainforest grows on sand! Home to over 40 perched lakes, sand dunes, ice cold creeks and lots of lovely creatures like sharks, dingos, spiders etc. Basically, Fraser Island is the true ozzie experience.

After Sydney we flew to the stunning Whitsundays where we went on a Red Cat two day tour (highly recommended!). Saw all the beauty spots and didn’t want to leave… I’ve got a gazillion photos from this part of the trip; needless to say it was hard to choose which ones to post but here’s a selection.

It was the one freezing, rainy weekend in the middle of a hot summer. But mix in friendship, pottery, meditation, fresh picked blueberries, fresh air and good spirits and it’s all fine – totally fine 🙂
