Puglia blew us away. One town more beautiful than the other, the best mozzarella and focaccia EVER, and stunning beaches. More tips inside…
I highly recommend staying at a Masseria or Trulli hotel. These are smaller, country hotels and there’s lots of them! Despite it being early September, the weather didn’t fully cooperate, which meant that we had to swap a few beach days with city trips. But because I’d done so much beach research before we flew over, I thought I’d share the top beaches that were recommended:
Lido Punta della Suina
Punta Prosciutto
Baia Dei Turchi
We drove all the way to the famous Spiaggia di Pescoluse (Maldive del Salento) but it was super touristy and crowded so drove on.
Towns we saw (each one more gorgeous than the other):
Gallipoli
Lecce
Ostuni
Polignano A Mare
