I made dozens of cookies last week! Half were ready-bought “Mailänderli” flavour (it’s a classic: buttery-lemony-yumminess, a very Swiss tradition and nothing to do with “Milan” whatsoever), and half were homemade gingerbread flavour. I followed this recipe, but used honey instead of golden syrup and a broader spice mix. Icing is just icing sugar, milk and vanilla extract, piped on with a piping bag (the red one is a ready mix). Think I made the icing slightly too thick so it was kinda hard to pipe on. Still, happy with the result!
