If there’s something you really want to do, just get up and do it, right? Right. So we got up at 4am on Thursday to go New Covent Garden Flower Market!
While it’s not Mother’s Day where I’m from and where my mum lives (Switzerland), the cold weather and all the Mother’s Day cards everywhere really brought back memories of an old favourite we used to have when I was little – fried aubergine! It’s not necessarily light and healthy fare, but BOY, these are GOOD.
Somebody recently mentioned to me that a coffee shop that’s doing really well is considering opening a second branch. … in Paris! The owners think that London is over-served by hipster coffee places whereas Paris isn’t. It’s true – almost every time I walk around (any area) in London I discover a new coffee shop that’s opened up.
I’ve spoken of vast lands and wild animals in my previous posts. Finally, here are my top tips if you’re also planning a trip to Namibia:
“When will I stop buying these pesky things and taking too many pictures of them??” you ask. Or I ask MYSELF. Honestly, their season ends any week/minute, so I’m getting what I can get (to last me the year).
Ok ok – there are a lot of images in this post. There’s just soo much to show. Namibia, with all of its incredibly diverse landscapes, has unbelievable wildlife to see. And it sometimes feels more wild than in your average nature reserve where animals live ‘in nature’ but within a controlled conservation area.
